The Company wishes to further clarify the following item:
3. Details of default or circumstances leading to the filing of the Writ of Summons
(i) On 21st January 2011, the Plaintif had sent a Letter of Demand to ME requesting for the payment of the Outstanding amount of RM7,897,450.42.
(ii) The Plaintiff filed the Writ of Summons, after their demand for outstanding amount was rejected and denied by ME.
ME rejected their demand due to the claim made by the Plaintiff on the grounds that the goods supplied did not comply with the specifications, terms and conditions of ME order, the goods supplied were also defective and some of the towers collapsed as the result of the defect.
