Reference is made to the announcement made by the Company on 18 April 2011 in relation to the Commencement of Litigation against Subsidiary Company, Maintenance Engineering Sdn Bhd (“ME”).

The Board of Directors of MESB wishes to further inform that ME did not proceed with the full payment to Syarikat Setia (“Plaintiff”) due to some dispute on the completion of works done by the Plaintiff in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.

ME will obtain the necessary legal advice from its solicitors with regard to the claim and has instructed its solicitors to defend the said claim.
